NEW FOOTSCRAY HOSPITAL COMMUNITY CONSULTATIVE COMMITTEE TAKING APPLICATIONS
Expressions of interest are being sought from local community members and stakeholders to join the Community Consultative Committee for the New Footscray Hospital.
The Committee will be chaired by Member for Footscray Katie Hall MP, and successful applicants will have the opportunity to influence the development of the $1.5 billion hospital through the Committee.
The role of the Committee will be to provide locals and local stakeholders an opportunity to participate in project planning and development, to represent the community’s diverse views, and to provide advice on the emerging issues, opportunities, and priorities of the New Footscray Hospital.
The Committee will operate for 12 months in the first instance. After 12 months the Committee will be reviewed and renewed for its continuing role through to early construction.
The Committee will include representatives from Western Health, local council, local health services and key community advocacy groups as well as the broader local community.
The EOI process opened on the 2 April 2019 and will close on the 11 May.
